Downside is that bilinear filtering is gone ;-)
How to do it (in theory ;-):
-adjust bilinear filtering blending factor such way
you get all 4 texels proper weights (depending how you
want blend those texels together)
-make texture that is compose of 4 textutes so
bilinear filtering can be fooled to blend
them together...
Thats it.. however, i dont know is that kind of hack
even possible in any API,.. Rredline is the lowest level API, but even with it, i dont know is this possible to do..
Any ideas? again ;-)
